Digital Reality in Foreign Language Education for medical professionals

 Project Mission is to support digital transformation in Foreign Language Education (FLE) in the EU, filling the existing gaps and raising the efficacy of foreign language education for nursing and caretaking students, and already qualified professionals as well. 

Project Goals

The Project aims to:

N

identify the relevant content of medical language courses suitable for use with Mixed Reality (MR) Applications;

N

develop the procedure for design and implementation of immersive MR simulations within frames of a foreign language training course;

N

show the potential of that technology to the target audience;

N

develop the pilot MR-based FLE modules and implement them in the educational process of nursing and caretaking personnel

N

create an online training course for FL teachers and managers.

Project Objectives

Project objectives are:

N

to develop methodical recommendations on selection of the educational contents best suitable for use with Mixed Reality (MR) Applications;

N

to develop and test a set of tools for productive interdisciplinary collaboration of teaching personnel and foreign language education professionals;

N

to develop the pilot MR-based foreign language education modules;

N

to study the impact of training scenarios on learning process;

N

to develop the up-to-date guidelines based on the implemented procedure;

N

to develop a full-functional and tested training course.
