The ASeFoLA 2023 conference, hosted by the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, took place on June 9th and 10th. Our partners from the Cyprus Interaction Lab at Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) presented our joint project, DR FLEMP (Digital Reality for Foreign Language Education of Medical Professionals). This Erasmus+ funded initiative aimed to accelerate digital transformation in European language education, with a specific focus on medical professionals.
ASeFoLA brought together researchers from around the world who studied second/foreign language acquisition. The conference explored the language learning experiences of mono-/bi-/multilingual speakers, considering their linguistic repertoires and the linguistic context. Valuable insights were gained during the event.
